WRX @ a drag race in Bitburg Germany
Hey all,
I am new here and I don't own a WRX... but my buddie Oldmansan does.
I was up in Bitburg watching some drag races and I just wanted to let you all see what they have over here in Europe. I will say I was impressed... and if your machines are as fast as this dudes, my god!!! These things are quick!!!
Oh... and San, I need the secret ingredients to that awesome BBQ rub that you had in Turkey!!!

Scuba!
What the FROCK! Get your BMW yet? Got my new turbo, just waiting on the header/uppipe. Got my wheels and tires too. And I put on the front mount intercooler. I've been spending goofy money on parts. I'll try to take a pic soon. Rub is 1 part garlic powder, 1 part oregano, 1/2 part paprika, 1/2 part coarse grind black pepper. A little salt. Go a little (little) heavier on the garlic than oregano. Don't forget to peel off the thin clear skin on the ribs, and rub a little olive oil into the ribs (meat) to make the rub stick. Let it sit for the rub to permeate the meat. Drop me a line Steve!

Unfortunately they did not have a board up that posted the times, but the drivers did get a print out of their 60ft. 1/8, 1/4mi and their trap speeds. And also unfortunately, I was just a spectator and I was unable to find out what they did. Sorry....
Over here in Germany drag racing is not as popular as it is in the states, so the big dollar equipment just isn't around. With tracks like the Nürburgring and even the Autobahn, we are just fortunate enough that we can find a place to drag-race cars.
There are supposed to be couple of more meets in the next month or two and I am sure that there will be more WRX's racing... I will make it a point to get their times.

Beautiful M3. I don't know much about them, but I've got some James Bond playing on my mental jukebox.
