I was at Ala Moana shopping center last night as the power went out. It just boggles my mind how many drivers don't know how to approach an intersection that has no lights. In order to escape the madness, I tried to get on the freeway as soon as possible and decided to go on H3 to avoid the Likelike, the less stoplights the better. Power came back up in Kahuku about 04:30am or so. I had to go to town today, and noticed no power from Laie to Kaneohe along the way and even in town there were a lot of traffic lights not working. Again, seriously a lot of people just suck at 4-way stops, you'd thing that most people know about them.
