Yeah, USA sucks. With Italy and Ghana on their remaining schedule, things are NOT looking good.

Japan was a surprise!! Got to hand it to those Aussies... man, they score 3 goals in a roll.

Brazil opens tomorrow!!!! I-club FIFA meet like Peter said~!!!

italy is gonna take group G along with the czechs. the US just isn't strong enough, however oguchi is a pretty solid defender. croatia and brasil game, watch Kovac in the midfield. i watched him in the WC qualifier, he's pretty tough on defense and has semi-good vision when distributing. for brasil, i'm just watching Adriano (i think we all are). france is just gonna rule. henry, trezeguet, zidane, viera, makalele, thuram, silvestre are all PT players. can't wait till spain plays!

Ready for my two cents.....

England need a fit Rooney and Owen to really compete. Sven has really made a big mistake in not bringing Johnson or Defoe in place of the untested Theo Walcott.

The Mexicans look good value for money this year, as do the Czech's.

Australia deserved the win, Japan's goal should have never stood, but being an Evertonian, I know all about Tiny Tim Cahill.

I don't fancy France at all.

Young player to watch out for.......Park Chu Young for South Korea, Young Asian player of the year (for the WHOLE continent) and top scorer in the Youth Asian Cup. He might just be something to watch.

Other youngsters would be Lionel Messi for Argentina and Aaron Lennon for England.

All in all this tournament has some serious potential!!!

yeah, they were completely lost. i would hate to see what happens when they go against italy, which is known for their tough defense. and gilardino and luca toni are just unstoppable. i think only onyewu will have a good game. i would say that he's probably the best defender the US has. right now, "le bleu" looks like doodoo, but i think they're just holding out. the swiss look good right now, they just can't finish, but their passing looks pretty good.
