this is shaping up to be a very interesting world cup. well, gotta hand it to the italians. it would be good to see portugal in the final, since they've never been in one since 1966. it's been a while for italy too though. remember though what happened in the 1994 WC when italy made it to the final in PK's? uh oh, will history repeat itself?

that was some bs by the ref. in the france vs portagul game. the ref gave france a PS b/c of a minor trip and then france pushed down a guy in the box and portagul got nutting.

women's world cup is in 2 years i think. it should be interesting since now, much of the women's soccer is coming up BECAUSE of the US womens team. they set the tone and sparked the lives of the world. i would say they're like the men's brasil team. weird isn't it?

for the US men, i would say that they're gonna be waiting for a while to play again. it's all about MLS now.

i do know that the EURO 2008 is coming up. this should be interesting as i'm sure France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Holland, and many others will be looking forward to it. i might have to buy tickets for that one.
