okey. damn CEL and cruise came on again friday night. so that makes 3 dammit. 2 times it occured in 2nd gear possible coasting on/off in the same EXACT(at least to 20ft) part of the street by my house.

everytime i clear the codes, the car cranks slow on the initial start. weird.

other than that, car feels dope. b

I haven't had one CEL yet......and I think my low boost problem is going away. My boost went up today 1lb.....only 3lbs more to go.

lucky guy.

if my car didn't have such a hard time starting after i clear the codes, i wouldn't mind so much, but i don't want to mess up the starter, so i have been driving with the very irritating lights.

werd......

hoping that cobb makes the program that lets you choose to "turn off" cels that you want. they talked about it back in january, but i guess it hasn't been done yet.

I have put over 200 miles on my car with the reflash.....and the boost hasn't come up yet.

The car feels great real smooth and no det....just less boost.

I took my 3/16th mod off and put the stock connector back on. Hope that helps.

I'm not even going to start...to get mad until....... I have the cobb turbo-back. I think that's the problem.

But when I have the "full" Cobb stage 2 set up and I'm making 3lbs less boost that stock....then I'll be mad. Hopefully that dosen't happen.

did you try the modified HWG and LWG maps yet? they got hem on their site for those making low and too high boost.

it still didn't cure my cel probs though. i think my computer is different batch. my slow starting up after clearing codes is common with another guy on the wrxforums too. oh well. b

Yeah...I'm using the HWG map.

BTW
I called Cobb today...They said for the stage 2 that I should really use their down-pipe (because of the design) but I can use any cat-back exhaust.

They also said I may have to bend my wastegate arm thingy a little...but to drive without the 3/16th mod for awhile first.

You guys still having problems with your AP? I havent had anything pop up, although it was boosting about 18+ in the higher gears...but i wouldnt hit fuel cut and it seemed to tone down after driving it a while. it doesnt seem to det anymore or ping...so im pretty happy with that, and i also seem to get a lot better gas mileage. I used to get about 200 miles per fill up now i get about 250. do you guys think the cobb tbe would be better for this set up, instead of mix and matching other parts?

yep. as my base.

first had stage 1, as base, then put on mods, then put stage 2 as base so that whever i change maps, it would revert to base stage 2.
