wolf's burg jetta 1.8T

my co-workers ex bf is talking all kines of smack about wrx's. he says he beat one in a race and said he could it even at the track. i wanna prove him wrong but i wanna make sure. he says he has a wolf's burg trubo in his jetta 1.8T, probably intake, and exhaust he didn't say anything else. can he really? he said he raced one already, but i was thinking like the wrx he was racing didn't even notice he was there.

I'll race him, say a grudge match at the track? Does he have any money? Just to make it more interesting.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. If it isn't chipped, he's probably running 15's.

They are very traction limited. The turbo spools up at less than 2000 rpm. IT's a fun car to drive, but it doesn't get any traction.
Any WRX driver with any skill should be able to beat him. ****, I'd give him a run for his money!

Yeah, but if you can't drive, you may get a 15.something run too.

Yup, I know this from experience. Running 11lbs of boost doesn't help either

thanks you guys. me and my friend were saying the same thing about the jetta's traction compared to a wrx. i guess he just thinks he's bad because he has a wolf's burg turbo. oh wells, we'll wait and see if he's really down. i guess he has money cus he has like lil tv screens all over his car. rexstang i'll keep you posted on him, he might just take your offer. hehehe, right now i gots a new born baby girl to take care of, so no grudge matchs for me. maybe oneday.

The fastest Jetta 1.8T I know of did 14.7 with chip, intake, exhaust. It's a Tiptronic.

hell I'd **** a fat chick for an M5. BTW, that jetta with the t3/t4 is just for show right now. he doesn't have the software or all of the hardware to take full advantage of it. I guess that's why he hasn't brought that thing out to the track yet.

now I need to find a fat chick with an M5
