Hi-fi actually does things as a team, I think jaren just wanted to also ask the the great guys of club, like you and me lol. Like Michael jordan once said,"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships." -Michael Jordan

hence the reason I like youtube and don't like asking for help, even if I know I am going to be in a world of trouble. One day I will call upon hiic.... one day......or maybe join chasens club till after we fix my stuff as a team... jk! I would deffo ask iclub b4 I ask anyone else when it comes to subies.

Honestly, installing a set of coilovers is one of the easiest installs out there. Have a good breaker bar and possibly cheater bar handy. Spray up some PB Blaster on all the bottom carriage bolts.
A "team" to install it is more about 10 people standing around watching the one guy install them in my opinion. Whatever does it for you though.
Tools:
Jack and stands
Impact Drill
12mm 19mm standard depth sockets
3/8-1/2 extensions (4-6")
19mm open end wrench.
Breaker bar
Cheater bar
Flathead screwdriver
Anti-Seize for brake/abs bolts when reinstalling. Can't hurt...
Torque Wrench
Put car up on jackstands
Remove wheels.
Remove Brake line bolt(12mm) front
Remove Brake line clip(rear) /w flathead screwdriver
Remove ABS line bolts(12mm) front+rear
Remove Struts: (Torque settings for when you put it back on)
3 top plate nuts(12mm) (15 ft/lbs torque)
2 strut bolts(19mm) on the bottom Front: 129ft/lbs , Rear: 145ft/lbs
Install coilovers in reverse order. Cake. 30 minutes or less for all 4 corners if there's no b!atch bolts...
Helps to have 2 people when installing the coilovers, one on the bottom to push the coil's top studs into the 3 holes and the other to nut it. Or... just wedge something in there to hold it up after you get it in the holes.
Main thing, get alignment shortly after. Set your front top camber plates to center. Make sure the tech doesn't touch your camber plates when adjusting, else hit him in the nuts.
Race day... jack it up, slam the plates in, mmmm enjoy...

Theres so many new hifi members poppin up these days.
I remember when it was only 5 guys with well built evos and sti's and id rarely see them around.
Now you guys are everywhere.
