I had a friend go to Kuwait to set up an apprentice program over there. I guess the USNavy wants to open a repait facility out there. Pay was great for the 6 months he was out and it was very safe in Kuwait.

Oh, Yeah Kuwait is very safe compared to Iraq. Anytime. The only difference is the $4,000 extra a month for being in Iraq. If I can get this same place here in Iraq and come as a civilian, that would be awesome.... 90% chance if apply for Iraq you might end up here. Awesome place very build up, but the threat level is always high!!! but I think it's worth it.
just my 02.cents
Thanks

- The first $80,000 are Tax free- anything after that you must pay taxes.
- 100% of the time you will fly in from Kuwait to Iraq by military planes, No convoys. Once in Iraq, and you need to go to a camp with no airport, you will fly by military black hawks escorted by their incredible Army Apaches. to that 1 destination, but is very rare, you need to go out of the camp. My goal is to come back here to LSA Anaconda as a civilian.
- If you get injured, we have Army hospitals here all over from Kuawait all the way into Iraq theres Medical help, just incase you get injured or even sick, The Army will take care of you, thats for sure, Civilians work for the Army thats what it is. Army contractor.
- Life insurance up to 1million dollars, so if something happens to me, my family will be set.
Thanks

I just got back from flying missions out of Al Asad for 7 months, and if you are on a large air base you will have it good, comapred to what some of my fellow Marines had.
Nothing against the civillian contractors of L3 and ITT but most people (including military) never leave the wire over there, and just yuck it up on base. If anyone goes over, try to go to Balad. Airforce base = HILTON

About the custody thing, Thats something you must do on your own. No company will do anything for you unless you do it on your own. This is just a job / business if you apply you might get the job and if you do, you must be ready to take these challenges if you really need a job like this and try to resolve anything you may have. It's just like the army, custody is on your own, etc, etc...
- I get to Puerto Rico on Jan. 15, I will be there for 30 days and Im planning on having everything I need for this job as by the 15 feb. I have 3 friends of mine who are doing this from PR. But I will definately give you guys all the info needed and Once we are selected we will all meet up and go as 1 team / group to Kuwait, Im trying to stick together so these 6 months go by quick!!!!
- Make sure you have your Resume and Passport ready. I must apply for my passport as soon I get back to Hawaii, myself.
I'll talk to you 1on1 Once we get back and to make sure we get everything straight.
- Trainning on the job is on the site training while getting paid. (Here downrange)
- Also we will be getting Ammunization shots, ie, Flu shot, TB, etc, etc...
- They will give us a badge as a Army contractor etc, etc. Theres people already waiting for us as soon we arrive in Kuwait for inprocess etc, etc... Then we head downrange to Iraq for the 6 months. Im really trying to get this area at Balad. Since my friend Keoka and cousin are here.
