Who do you guys go through to order your parts and how often??

So the reason why I'm creating this thread is for research purposes sorta related to school. Since I'm a long time automotive motorsport enthusiats like the rest of you, i choose this industry to do my research on. So here are the 4 question you may/need to answer.

1.Who(VENDOR) do you order your car related parts from(performance or looks)?

2.How often do you conduct business with them?

3.Why do you continue to conduct business with this vendor?

4.What's your initial thought when you first hear about the vendor you continuosly go to for your purchase?

Thanks for you time

1.Who(VENDOR) do you order your car related parts from(performance or looks)? importimageracing.com

2.How often do you conduct business with them? whenever I need parts, 2 to 3 times year

3.Why do you continue to conduct business with this vendor? Josh Nahm

4.What's your initial thought when you first hear about the vendor you continuosly go to for your purchase? Josh gives the best deals "shipped", especially when living in Hawaii and more recently he is helping me out by shipping all my parts to an overseas APO address. A lot of the time I find vendors will not ship to an APO address because it is international. But in reality my zip code is a California based zip code. If anything other vendors are to lazy to fill out a Customs Declaration Form. With Josh always no hassle.

1) Who (Vendor): Dan @ WheelDude.com......go figure. Like Jess, I've also used Josh @ ImportImage too, as well as TurnInConcepts.

2) How Often: Too often

3) Dan and the WheelDude staff are great and easy to work with. I'm in the customer service business as well, and I know good service when I get it. He answers my PM's/Emails/Phone calls, gives me advice, and is always looking out for his customers.

4) First thought: Haha, what kind of name WheelDude? But in the end, Dan single handedly helped me spend more of my hard earned money than Leila would like to know.

1.Who(VENDOR) do you order your car related parts from(performance or looks)? TurnInConcepts (performance)

2.How often do you conduct business with them? Very Often

3.Why do you continue to conduct business with this vendor? Lived in the same town as them. Found out they were as legit as anyone else or more so. They do FREE SHIPPING even to HI. Best suspension gurus I know of and they won Redline Time Attack in 2009 for the street class and are currently in 1st for modified class. In the most recent session at Sebring they got FTD for the whole event while still in MODIFIED class (there is an unlimited class that the likes of AMS play in).

4.What's your initial thought when you first hear about the vendor you continuosly go to for your purchase? "They won again? What's New?"

Ditto. Just received my turbo, injectors and fuel pump. Great customer service and it was the best price I could find on the whole package.

1.Who(VENDOR) do you order your car related parts from(performance or looks)?

Raw1 Performance for engine stuff, and also, Gruppe-S for looks, and suspension bits. Honorable mention: Surge Line for their dry sump system.

2.How often do you conduct business with them?
Haven't for years, but when I was active in my project, I'd call often to ask questions on their products.

3.Why do you continue to conduct business with this vendor?

They take the time to answer my questions with detail.

4.What's your initial thought when you first hear about the vendor you continuosly go to for your purchase?

High customer service reviews.

+1, other than the Hawaii part that's pretty much accurate. Josh has always gone out of the way for me and always price matched or beat. The dudes a great guy.
