Yeah,
I can help. In my humble opinion, the Redline shockproof transmission and rear differential for my 2002 WRX made no difference. I was expecting a difference, but noticed nothing. Check the transmission forum on NASIOC, there's a thread there where the hot ticket seems to be some pricey dino gear oil (or Uncle Scotty's speciaql formula). I use Redline engine oil religiously, so it's not like I'm dissing Redline, but the tranny/diff synthetic oil didn't impress me. It isn't cheap either.

your rear differential will have 2 drain plugs which can be removed by using a 1/2" drive ratchet or a 1/2" drive breaker bar.
You will need to remove the lower drain plug first to remove the fluid. After it has drained, you will need to put that drain plug back in securely (do NOT over torque). Then remove the top plug to fill it. on the WRX/STI you need to fill it until fluid start to drip out of the top hole (make sure you read the capacity amounts though) then seal it back up.
You should have done a search on this. other people including myself has posted things about differential fluid changes...etc. before
you should also look at the impreza transmision section.
