Been looking online (google, nasioc, ebay) and can't really find any deals. Please LMK. thanks.

I don't think the 5x100 18x9.5 NT03s come in a +38 offset. Most group buys are +40 (not a major difference), but just a heads up.

They don't come in that offset.

Are you doing any form of racing? I ask because these would be harmful for a daily driver setup.

Could you elaborate? Why would this be harmful?

Dammit, I keep hitting edit, not quote. Sorry. [br]

That stuff applies if you have correct size tires on them. One of the bigger ones is the steering component failures, especially on current models. This seems to be a relatively common failure. Other things apply if you stretch tires on it. This is also not taking into consideration the effects of lower offsets, which can exacerbate some the issues listed.

you will have zero issues with that wheel setup. I ran 9.5 38 ET on 265 for 3 years zero issues along with a million other subarus. Actually the best wheel for are body style is a 18x9.5 et 35-40. Put a 255 or even the stock 245 which is hardly a stretch at all and have zero worries. Its when you start putting offsets like 15 you will begin having issues and thats after a while.

This statement could not be further from the truth. That offset range is entirely too low and I mentioned the downsides of the size above.

Ok keep believing what YOU think is ok and myself along with the thousands of other people and all the reputable shops that I deal with go doing it all wrong. Things that you mentioned apply to really low offsets. 35 and up is not low. So keep believing what you want. But don't give false information about something you don't know anything about. Do you even drive an 2008+? Doesn't look like it at least.

you sir lack any logic. Maybe you and the thousands of other people and all the reputable shops that you deal with (cuz you're such a big shot) shouldn't give out advice to anyone. you missed the entire point that was being made. no really there was a good point there, go back and read it again i'll wait....

Nasioc almost always has NTO3+M/RPF1 group buys as well, it might save you $100 in the end. Or the shipping might kill you.

Oakos sells/ships for pretty good price as well.

Last I checked, fender clearance wasn't the sole deciding factor in what makes a setup ideal as you seem to think it is. And I haven't said anything false, which is an ludicrous claim considering I know more about wheel fitment than anyone else in this thread. You've completely neglected concepts such as suspension geometry and opted to only look at fenders and at the fact that wheels in certain configurations are made regardless of the fact they are generic wheel fitment, not specifically designed for these car, and sold by dozens of drop shippers who sell them because they know people will buy them. At this rate you're going to tell me that because a race car runs a given setup that it's perfect for all street driven GR/GV.

And for the record, the things I mentioned were not focused on low offset. My links applied to correct fitting (high offset) wide wheels with wide fitment tires. If you go lower offset as you suggest you are opening the door to issues I haven't mentioned yet on top of some of what I have listed.

I offered him an intermediate setup that will have good looking fitment but at the same time doesn't take too much away from the functionality of the car. I recommended something along the lines of 17x9 +45 RPF-1s.
