I spoke to him about fixing my knackered BBS rim for the STi. He has the factory gold color for Subaru Rims. He repairs curbage and other minor damages to rims and paints them. He is mobile as well.

He quoted me about $200 for the one BBS rim, but if you think about it, #1: my one rim is pretty screwed and needs a lot of work; #2: BBS wheels are expensive...just how you think about it. His # is 391-8633. Hope this helps.

So,..has anyone had any experiences with Todd at Alloy Wheel repair? Saw that this is a Nationwide business type and they must be reputable and qualified,..Would like to use their mobile service since I work 8-5pm and would like to see if he could pass by the Kapiolani Blvd area during the weekdays while Im at work,...

Todd is a pretty cool guy. Although I just think he gets a little overworked. I guess since there aren't many wheel repair facilities around nowadays, if any. I used to work as a lot tech at a dealership, he comes by every week to repair OEM wheels. The finish is great; I can't tell what was wrong with the wheel before he touched it though hehe.

The only problem is that he is very mobile and he's all over the place so it's a little hard to find a time and place but i'm sure he'd be able to take a look at it if you go to him.

Real nice guy.

Todd does GREAT work - but he does get backed up. I think he's a one man show. Really nice too. I'd recommend him.

Not sure if he re-paints or coats wheels...

I have to chime in and sing Todd's praises. I gave him a silver BBS rim that was EXTREMELY pitted from WTF I dunno. He had the rim for about a week and a half and it looks fantastic. You can still see some pit marks, but for the most part, he did an EXCELLENT job on the rim. He's a real nice guy, and it's just him. So yes, he does get backed up, but well worth the wait. His prices are also reasonable, considering what he does.

Well,..I got just one SSR Comp that seems to need just a little work as it has a slight bend on the inner side of the rim,..Is he that backed up where it'll take about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to get a rim done average? Called and left a message and prbly try again after 7pm to see what he says,..

Darn,..my impatience has me wanting to get tires and mount them already,..

Well I got a call from Todd, and from wht he explained is that he doesnt fix bent rims. He did refer me to Moo's on Mapunapuna. Now I got to find a way to head there during my lunch break to go check em out to see if they can fix my rim,..

Guess Todd does mostly scrubs and other cosmetic fixes then? Would've been more convenient if Todd could fix my rim on site (near my workplace),..

Just smash it,..I would,..

Anyways,..got my wheel back the next morning and Moo's really did a great job for only $78 total including tax,..

I should take my other rim there someday to get fixed that was damaged by FedEx when delivering new rims to me,..Luckily the vendor that sold me the 4 rims told me to keep it anyways and sent me a new rim to replace it,.....
