What do you think about this set up: http://www.rcephotos.com/photos/albu...G_1898_001.jpg. If it's good enough for Myles from Race Comp, well........ you know. I actually think it does look pretty sweet though. This pic was the deciding factor for my picking these up for my wife's Forester. Oh and what do you know.....they just so happen to be for sale too. Interested???

It's tempting. I don't know if the wife will let me spend that much for a month or two though... Do you need to roll the fenders for a good fit? Right now I'm about 1.5 lower.

Those Enkies would should fit, you may need a slight roll in the rear depending on whether or not you corrected your camber back there. But at 19" those wheels are rather large.
If I were you, I would go for a set of Gold Gravels, the gold will be a nice contrast with the black and not very many people have them yet, they are really nice wheels. Where as with the Torques, although they are also very nice, they are kinda played out and it seems like everyone and they mom has a set of Torques.
And if you go with 18x8.5 +44 you should be fine. There is a guy on 3gwrx who has a set of 18x8.5 +44 Grids and he is lowered on Rallitek springs with no roll and no pull. So far he has only one experience where it rubbed a little and it was during a very spirited drive through a rather technical section of road. He later took the wheel off to check for damage and found nothing.
Here is a picture of his car so you can get an idea of what that size looks like on a lowered car.

True, 19's are not the "norm". But, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the pics of Myles' car and how the fenders were filled out so well with the 19's. And, the RPF-1's are a couple pounds lighter per wheel than the Rota's even though the Rota's are 18's.

I think I'm going with the gravels. Bronz or gold... haven't decided yet! Think I can queeze 18x9 in there? I havent adjusted the rear camber yet, but I will be in the near future.

The problem with the GH and GR's is the new suspension with the double wishbone set up. Gaining a lot of rear camber is not as easy and the older body style WRX's and STi's. Whiteline and Powerflex make adjustable upper control arm bushings, but they only yield you like 1 degree of camber. Your other options are really expensive......adjustable upper control arms, lateral links, etc....
Guys in the mainland are running as aggressive as 18x10.5's with 285's so it's definitely do-able. Oh and yup, like Ryan said, coilovers will make fitment a little easier as well. Oh and what do you know, I just so happen to have a set of coilovers for sale too, if you're interested (end shameless plug).
