I've been eating really hot stuff for years (my sister pickles Habaneros for me) and I've kind of lost the taste for hot sauce, I go more for flavor now. For that, I love Frank's - it's not real hot so you can pile it on. It will greatly improve the flavor of any fast food chicken strips or nuggets, I actually look forward to buying chicken strips so I can smother them with Frank's.

In Louisiana locals very rarely use Tabasco. Crystal or Louisiana is found on almost every table in every restaurant you go into. You Tabasco lovers should try them, you might be changed forever.

I have gotten away from hot sauce lately and have moved to pepper jelly. There is a local company that makes it and it is great on just about everything.

The brand is Rose City Pepper Jelly i believe. But flavor wise i usually get Manderine Thai, Hoppin Hobinero, Hawaii Jalapino, and a few others that I cannot remember.

Haha, great thread Warren! I love hot stuff too. In my fridge I've got both Cholula and Tapatio, and I absolutely love Taco Bell's hot sauce. Those Dave's Insanity sauces are absolutely nuts!!! Just the tip of a tooth pick took me down. I remember I used to work at a restaurant in Aloha Tower years ago, and the manager from one of the other restaurants used to come by and hang out after work. He ordered a pupu steak and wanted some hot sauce. We told him we had some Dave's Insanity sauce if he wanted to sample it. We warned him and he doused it! He must of put like almost 1/4 of the bottle. He friggin loved it! Holy crap!

Back in my sushi making days, we used to order this hot sauce with a plastic yellow cap that has a melting skull on it. For the life of me I can't remember the name. WE ACTUALLY HAD TO SIGN A WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR DEATH TO PURCHASE IT!!! I can take hot stuff. A little background on my tolerance of heat. I once challenged a customer to who could eat the most golf ball sized pure wasabi. The guy paid me $100 and i ate 12 of them. My throat and chest burned for 2 days.
It's made by blairs. Now regular blair's hot sauce is hot. THIS bottle is $175, and I guess you still need to read and approve the disclaimer: http://www.hotsauce.com/Blair-s-3am-...d-numbered.htm

You guys are all ****ing pussies until you have this. You will ****ing die!!
I felt like crap, and went home immediately after. I did not go back to work the next day. I did **** for a day and a half.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add my favorite hot sauces right now are franks red hots for wings, and for mexican i like the cholula, like what was mentioned. There was another one that my friend got for me in mexico, but i got sick of that one. If some one purchases the $175/bottle hot sauce, they can use me as a test subject. I think I still have a working stomach lining.

Here's the scoville scale that measures intensity: http://www.hotsauce.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=78

I need not say anymore.
Hot is a scale you have not touched or experienced.
