What speaker to put in the rear doors?

As the title says I can't decide on which to put either 5 1/4 coaxils or 5 1/4 seperates. of course the coaxils will be relatively a lot cheaper and will sound better than stock but on the other hand seperates will sound even better but will cost a little more. both speakers will be Infinity kappas and will be powered by an amp.

Coaxials man...you only really need to have separates in the front.

It's debatable but the Fronts are the most important and the rears provide "fill".

x 2, the rears are just there to "fill."

So could you help me do mine. Just an amp and a subwoofer to the car. I have all the wires and tools that I need.

I am not sure how to do it. (Take apart the dash etc.)
I didn't really want to buy a new deck so I want to use my factory deck.

give me a call

I'm running 5 1/4 Coaxials in the back...sound good for just back speakers..... and 6 1 / 2 seperates in the front...... stock deck with amp and subwoofer 12".....

sounds pretty good......don't wanna go too loud to attract attention.....all the sound is in the car you hear some bass and highs outside of the car.....

hey thanks for the feedback I seriously now cant wait to get this stuff installed.....unfortunately have to wait for the adapters to come in.

Mystic,

i dont mind helping its more of the time factor. if anything you can come over when I do mine and you can mimic what I do on my car, oh and of course i will be watching to make sure you wont dyck it up but you do have to admit you will have a better sense of satisfaction knowing you did it yourself

Its pretty easy to hook up the speakers...... did everything my self....hooking up the amp with the stock deck took a while.....you have to splice the wires because theres no RCA out puts in the stock deck.....took about 2 hours for everything....took my time to hide the wires good and plus i was working by my self while my friends just watch and do nothing....

what adapters are you waiting for......? the one that connects to your speakers? or the RCA connecters?

is it okay to just splice the speaker wires on a deck with no rca outputs and not damage the amp?

I splice my wires with the back speakers...the only wire i splice was the remote wires to the deck the one that turn on and off your amp....
