What kind of brake fluid do you use?

Wassup guys. I'm about to install my SS brake lines and front and rear rotors this weekend, but I was wondering what kind of brake fluid everyone uses? Also does the brake fluid used make any difference? If so is the difference worth the $20 a bottle?

Thanks,
Shane

I used Motul RBF 600 and I bought it at that bike shop on Nimitz by WMR or close to it..Honestly I doubt you'll feel the brake fluid by itself but combined with it and the lines it makes for a worthwhile mod I plan on putting SS lines and Motul fluid in the G just for kicks..

I

used to use Motul RBF600 until I cooked some at the track. It's good, but I think you might be slightly better off with the Super Blue. That said, I use neither. Castrol SRF is the best brake fluid out there. Period. It lasts longer, and has a higher boiling point than anything else commercially available. It is not cheap. If you aren't tracking your car aggressively, don't bother with the Castrol.

I've found that the Valvoline Synpower DOT3/4 stuff that comes in the gold-ish bottles works great. You can get it at any parts store, or even Walmart I think. I personally think it holds up to track abuse better than ATE Super Blue, it's less expensive, and I don't have to mail order it or get it from a performance shop, I can get it anywhere.

For street use, I'd say the Valvoline is the way to go.

Big mahalos to all of the replies. With all said, I think I will go with the super blue. Where can I get it?
