Car Info: 2002 WRX Sedan - Silver
A friend of mine who has since learned his lesson from over $5K in fines for street racing / speeding etc. after he first got his car, says they only use Laser. He found the info out while riding in a cop car after one incident, & he asked.

it shouldn't matter since HIIC shouldn't be speeding hehehe

Anyway with that said. Yes, I think we only use LASER however most laser detectors aren't that accurate. I have tested my brothers old laser detector and we had to try quite a bit of times to get it go to off even if the laster was right on top of the laser detector it wouldn't go off.

Good Luck!

Jon

Why get a detector, when you can get a laser jammer?

Hah good stuff. Got a serious one on order for the bmw, pretty nice and hidden after install. Not sure about legality, but oh well. Tint is going to be too dark, no front plate, might as well get a jammer too...

car tunes in kailua

its like 300 bucks or so... heres the techie stuff(and legal) some say its illegal but its not because it doesn't cover your plate. it sends a broken signal back to the laser gun. my buddy in hpd said they stopped using radar several years ago. and those of you using laser detectors---- mostly they are useless. my friend says that as soon as he points at a car it takes half a second to get a reading(he tested me on the H-3---if u see a black camaro ss in kaneohe/kailua lookout cuz my friend can be a punk!!)... plus they turn the gun on and off so you will never really know if they are pointing it at you until its too late...your best bet buy the jammer.

my advice ...don't speed!!!!! it can become a bad habit its not worth it
