if you just started the car then revved it right after that is very bad for the car STOP that immediately. when you start your car oil hasn't reached everything in the engine yet thus causing your engine not to be lubbed and can cause damage.

Yes, don't rev your engine until the oil has circulated in your engine to recoat all the internals and get the oil pressure stabalized. There's a reason the ECU has a warm-up idle procedure.

Wink

My car stumbled at startup yesterday. This was after it was pretty warmed up already. After startup, rpms droped to almost 0, bounced, up and down twice.

Weird. Not sure if it's the same problem as you, but still a weird occurance.

How many miles you got?

<- 45k

might wanna check your IACV(idle air control valve)located right on top of the throttle make sure it's clean, might be dirty and if you do open it up...get extra gaskets just in case...

or it could be something loose that you forgot to tighten....ok i hope this helps...

Thumbs up

^ hehe, thanks. I did recall that was the thing to check for problems like this. This has only happened like twice ever, so i'll just keep en eye out for it and if it gets worse, I know what to check.

Thanks for the heads up.
