Went to toyota w/cousin!!

Ok fellow i-clubbers. I checked out and test drove my cousins s-runner. Didnt know they were v6 but was impressed with only 190 hp to the wheel. Then we went down to toyota. I scoped out the x-runner and its fighting stance was an inch or two lower compared to the s-runner. Also what impressed me was its v6 240 hp and it was torquey. Torque rate was @275 lbs. Then was introduced to a worker with an x-runner with the trd supercharger bumped it from 240 hp to 300 hp(STi hp) but forgot torque numbers. Also "0.9g's of lateral acceleration, and on par with the x-runners testing companion, the nissan 350z" whatever the guy meant.

So still thinking but STILL IN LOVE WITH MY SUBARU!!!

Very nice...

That X-Runner/Super Charger combo sounds great! When I had my Tundra I was going to supercharge it prior to getting my STi...ended up selling it due to extreme gas consumption...that was before the supercharger...heh heh

Here is a thought for you...right now, everytime you fill your Suby up...if it it's empty, we are talking maybe $30-$35 to fill up...With your truck, we are talking probably almost twice as frequently, with $60/$70 per fill up...especially with premium for the supercharger...

Believe me, living in Kaneohe and commuting to Ala Moana everyday, sometimes making the trip twice...really hurt my net income with my Tundra...the gas pinch is bad enough with my wifes Pilot and my car...I have an Acura I rarely drive as well because of the gas mileage...

Something to think about Walter before you hand over your hard earned cash...nice truck though...

Hey Brent and Chris (I havent had the priviledge of meeting you yet), thanks for your feedback on this subject!! I really appreciate it.. Well I took every pros and cons into consideration and analyzed each one carefully to see if I will greatly benefit or vice versa. On paper, it pretty much balances out but with a like a .05 lead on the subaru side. Got 2 more days to make my final decision!!!

OR... I might keep my subaru and pick up the truck and refinance since I've already paid off my ride. But this thought is absurb i think. Oh well, "ONLY TIME WILL TELL"
