welding sensor bungs?
#2
i plan on taking my dp to exhaust systems hawaii...sum weirdo that drives a blue tr told me he got his done there and they did a good job on his wideband bung. i think they priced me like 28$ with the bung as long as it was off the car. if the parts are on the car they add 100.

i figured that company would come up LOL. I believe I have the bungs I just need it welded. I'll mark where i want the bung welded before removing it from the car. Makes it easier on myself

you mean to weld the sensor bung in your exhaust manifold? the front one right? the reason im asking is because my sensor shot out about a year ago, and idk if i need to replace it or not, or just weld the damn thing shut. some people have told me its more of an a/f sensor?

no, i mean add an EGT probe bung onto the header that isn't there. i'm not referring to the stock oxygen sensor that goes into the exhaust manifold. That was actually does contribute to your A/F. If you're referring to your up pipe EGT probe then that one could be sacrificed I believe but research before you decide whether to keep it or not. Also, my D/P needs a WB02 bung installed into it to correctly monitor and log my current A/F ratios

ohhh, ok. yeah i took out that egt sensor. the probe was loose and rattling around in there. i actually just put a bolt (forgot the thread pattern) cut it short to minimize blockage and called it a day. Crap i gotta get a new front 02 sensor.
