^^^ didn't even try...

i rationalized that i should at least pay the $100 fine since he coulda got me for craploads: speeding-ish, seatbelt, and recon --which he noticed.. he was cool about it.

1- no offense taken, das why i said IMO

2- with several family members in hpd, i know that cops(in general) "enjoy" showing up in court.(overtime pay) . when i worked at the airport, if i wrote tickets that required me to show up in court i made sure that i made the court dates on my day off(and every ticket i wrote had tons of notes on the back-). so i think most cops are prepared if they have to show up in court. especially on a ticket that is nearly 20 mph over.(and if its a solo bike u can imagine that their reports on the back of the ticket are thorough.. u figure they write citations every single day)

3-yes

if taking a day off to get a fine reduction to save on insurance is worth your money and time then do it. if anything try to see just exactly how much money(insurance) would be saved by getting a fine reduction- assuming that the judge will reduce the fine...
