Trying to see what the i-clubbers think I should do.
I already have an AP2.

^^^that is the reason I am asking how I can do it with a MAC.
I donʻt want to buy a PC just to use it for my WRX.
I want to use my Mac.

go to rom raider im pretty sure they have a version for osx.

as for being better i would say its the same, the only thing that makes open source better is the cost and you can tune yourself, if you have he knowledge. 100 for a cable and the software is free, but you already have an Ap so if you dont want to tune it yourself just use what you got.... my .02

cheaper and does the same thing basically. a little more hands on but with the money you save you can get a custom tune for your car which will most likely yield better results compared to an OTS map.

OP, do you have an intel mac? Nasioc peeps suggest installing windows to your mac to run the open source software

Very True...But I canʻt use the AP with Mac. I am going to do some upgrades but I am going to need some EM after I install some things.

use bootcamp on your MAC, install windows on the boot camp partition, and voila you can use open source on your MAC.

once you go open source you may as well sell the AP2 as there's not much use for it. at least that's how i understand how tuning works.

If I put Windows on my MAC I want to do it With Parallels.
Parallels is different then bootcamp.

unless you have a AP v1 which is completely useless like me. hell i can't even sell it for a $1 on ebay.
