Want FREE Track time this Sunday, July 10th?
Chris from Waialae Subaru called me and let me know that he has 10 openings for any RS, WRX, STi, Legacy or Forrester owner that wants about 20 minutes of free short track time this coming Sunday (July 10, 2005) at HRP.
SCCA is holding a Spectator Event this sunday with Wheel-to-Wheel, open wheel and closed- wheel cars. We have some time during lunch where SCCA stewards will be running the course and Subaru owners can run during that time. It will probably be one run, about 20 minutes. I know it doesn't seem like a lot of time, but normally you would have to pay about $75 to do this either with SCCA or other groups that rent out the track.
This is a lot different than SOLO II racing, but if you have ever run a Speed Gear Track day, it's basically the same thing. You would need to arrive at HRP no later than 11:30am. Your car will need to be technically inspected, you need to wear shoes, bring a helmet, and I'm pretty sure long pants. This will cost you nothing! Please PM me ASAP if interested.
