i think any work in your engine or suspension will void your warranty, depending where you take it, but hey, just put bolt ons and put it back to stock if you want to take it in! thats what i'm gonna do! or not...

BOV kinda gives away how much throttle you're using .. say you "blow off" very loudly .. if you do that every shift the other guy knows that you're pushing the throttle a lot.
If theres no noise its not very evident how much you're stepping on it .. Haha you could use a lot of throttle and only go up to every shift and some people will think .. "wow that car has some torque" Dunno.. I might be talking out of my *** on this one. lol
Anyway if you don't have a catless exhaust, be careful with a full atmosphere bov. In rare occasions you may backfire, and that little cat in the uppipe probably won't take too much of that crap for long, maybe breaking off and going into your turbo : /
Ok i'll shut up, I was Bored and I think this is getting too technical for the hawaii forum too ..

ANYTHING you add on aftermarket will void your warranty...just don't be one of those idiots who drags the crap out of his car, then when the tranny breaks you take it in for warranty. Those kinds of people **** ME OFF and gives the rest of us that don't do stupid stuff to the car a bad reputation.
On a lighter note, as far as the lettering goes...just slowly and gently pull them off (that's what I did)...use goo gone or goof off to remove the adhesive. You can try fishing line to get you started. Just take your time.

By law, the burden is on the dealership to prove that the modifications you've made are directly responsible for the failure you're trying to get repaired under warranty. For instance, if you put an aftermarket cat-back exhaust on the car, and at 15,000 miles one of your struts is blown, they can't legally deny your claim to have the strut replaced under warranty.
If they do try to deny your claim, have Daddy hire a lawyer for you and take their *** to court. They don't have a leg to stand on.

As long as you use an ASE certified tech the burden of proof is on the dealership. They have to prove without a question of adoubt that your mod caused the problem. Innocent until proven guilty isn't just for criminal court.
