Yeah, I'm guessing the weather should be ok, but the water will be cold. At least for Hawaii standards. But I must admit, I love Vegas too. Of all the 8 or so times I've been to Vegas, it only rained like once for like 15 minutes. But then again, you are in the middle of the dessert. Hawaii is paradise, so it HAS to rain sometime.

If you are staying out in ko'olina (kapolei) I would not be as worried as if you were staying in Kaneohe.
The winter weather out here seems fickle so I would just plan alternative things to do if it does rain.

hhhmmm....hawaii weather is kinda weird...it rains whenever it feels like it i guess...just put it this way...expect rain or drizzles every month...not necessarily a long period of time but it's there....ever noticed guys...to the ones that live here...coz this happens to me when i'm driving...it'll be sunny...no rain at all then it starts pouring for a good 10 - 20 ft. then the rain just stops... and i would look at my rear view mirror and still see that area pouring...(already passed it) and i'm like...what the heck...weird...like the rain just wanted to drop on that area and missed the whole part around it....ha ha...

I went to college in the Pac. N.W. That's rain for weeks on end.
I hated it. Then I moved to windward Oahu. The rain grows on you. Seriously,
I would not trade our rain for snow, cold, sleet and ice anymore. I once went into my house to get a jacket, and in 20 seconds, my stairs froze, and when i ran outside, i slipped down the stairs and broke my anus. So yeah, rain is good.
