I've been talking to Jack @ iON about IHI hybrids. He says it just depends on how much power you're looking for. The hybrids range from $800-$1,500 plus shipping.

yup, ... I'm buying Farid's car. vf30, uppipe, downpipe is all I got for mods. .... unless you count the c/f hood ... and the Sparco seats! ... oh yeah, and the cut springs

That's a lot of cash, IMHO, to rebuild a turbo. Plus you have the expense and hassle (especially here in Hawaii) of retuning for the changed flow characteristics of the larger/better turbo. I don't think, for me, the power/price ratio would be good enough for all that. But I'm a cheap bastard
