Yeah the guy was stupid and deserved the blown up car and the hassle, but narcing him off wasnt cool. Of course with cases like this when Subaru sees modded cars blowing up they will just see more reason to deny claims when you do even minor mods to the car. With all the mods he had I wouldnt think the dealer would actually be fooled by the stock parts being on I mean it would show pretty clearly. Oh well. He needs to go buy a Honda or a Beetle...
