Tuner back in town soon?

So I got a few parts to install on my friend's car and gotta coordinate with R&D to install a PDX350 turbo into his car as well..

But going to need an AP2 temp map and tune soon after turbo goes in along with the DW740 injectors and Drop in Fuel pump assembly.

anyone know if and when a tuner is coming back to town for an I-club Tune day?

Wassup Rico,..

err,...whatever the 2nd PDX turbo that came out and similiar to what Simon has on his car but with the more restictive output to intercooler flange that was welded on...

I'll find out about the remote tune as I know they do this for Mercedes too on a dyno...

btw,...do you like your tune (555) by Matt or Jarrad? I may try Matt's for a comparo,.but Jarrad's Customer Service is A+++ for all the help and info he gives....

Well all you need to do is get a base map from any tuner you like, then you data log your car. The tuner will then adjust the map according to the logs. All the logs and maps will be sent via email. If you get a hold of alain he got a new wideband so the tuner can lock in your afr as well.

What EM is your friend using?

Matt and Jerrad are both great tuners...if you like Jarrad stick with him since you have been working with him and have developed a relationship. Matt is great but different strokes for different folks...there are things i do not like about Matt but that's with every tuner.

Hey I got a quick question bout my custom map. I had to change my battery so do I have to reflash my ecu again that jarrad had put in? The custom map is not on my AP cause I forgot to bring the cables to jarrad during tuning day.

I always ask myself that question...

Bu if you disconnect the battery, you only gotta flash the RT map or your dyno tune (if you got one) map.

Base maps are on your ecu even if you disconnect or lose power...

Rico, my friend has the AP2...
Reading a dyno log is good, but multiple run on the dyno or remote would be better since you dont know what you got when ur emailed a map. You would have to dyno your car with the map again to see and make sure everything is ok again...

If u have a apv2 check what base and realtime map that is currently on your ecu and make sure they are the ones jarrad made for your car. If for w.e. reason they are not the correct maps get in contact with jarrad and have him email you your maps so you can flash it on the ecu.

If you have a apv1 check the base map to make sure its correct if not reflash the base once u get it from jarrad and go ahead and reflash the realtime map since there isn't a way to check what realtime map is on the ecu.

hope that helps

^^
Yes,..Jarrad provides EXCELLENT customer support months and years after my dyno tune looking for a map I need for my AP or whatever reason...

Hopefully my friend can benefit from his tune if he comes back soon... I got some parts to put on and still buy for his car...

Jarrad will be happy to return when the need arises. A date can be set and will not interfere with the other tuner's.
