Tune Question

I am currently running stage II Cobb and I peak out occasionally at 19psi boost. I am running the stock BPV, I am getting Protuned next month. Will my tune put me past levels that the stock BPV can handle? , Do I need to get an adjustable BOV?

Yes according to Jarrad at PDX tuning and Ryan at Vakamon..The stock bpv should be good for 24-25 psi.Anything above that,I would run a 50/50 bov.Aps,gfb, works ds2,gfb.

isn't 100% recirculating better than 50/50?

u dont ever need a BOV until ur turbo requires it... its not a boost figure, but a turbo figure!

think about it.. if boost is being pushed on both sides of a valve is a valve gunna move?

at stage2...

you are unlikely to be tuned pass the 20psi mark with a stock turbo...I am currently running my stock bpv with no issues what so ever.

My last tune with PDX...Jarrad set my EBC at a max of 20psi...anything more and water/meth injection would have been required to safely tune it...

You will be fine with your stock bypass valve.

Stock BPV is best..What i'm saying is anything above 24psi you might wanna change it out to handle more boost.
