yo,
thanks again! here's the numbers for my new personal best:
reaction---.599
60ft--------1.915
1/8et------8.737
1/8mph---79.21
1/4et------13.682
1/4mph---98.43
the funny thing was that i wasn't going to run but nobody was at the track. like maybe 10 cars. i did 5 passes in less than 30 minutes and that's letting the car cool off a couple times. i wish it was like that all the time.
i ran against a bsm camaro who ran a 12.1 @115.9 mph! he ran a 12.06 a little later. those bsm boys are fast!
richard, this would have been a good night to test that stage 4. hope you get that turbo fixed soon. can't wait to see what kawson and mitch run.

grats Ed.
You know, sometimes I wonder if that whole 'cooling down the IC' is all that important. You know I'm just a regular old dummy, but when I am able to cycle through pretty quickly and do one run after another, my times get quicker.
13.6. Way to go.
Pat

WERE WE AT THE SAME TRACK?!?
I didn't see any of you guys there.
I ran against a minivan and a nissan. Spanked them both. Nothin' boosts the ego more than beating a minivan..... *SIGH*
15.2 @ 88.7MPH with a 2.0 60ft. I was suffering from wheel spin too.
Previous best of 15.5 @ 85MPH with 2.0 60ft (no wheel spin)
3 1/10 of a sec gain with cams.

So were there any tale-tell signs residual from your tensioner mishap? I know I'm a dunce, but from what little I know, 15.2 on a bent cam is pretty amazing.

Sometimes the cam makes the engine surge at idle. I don't know if I'm losing any power, but I probably am. I can feel the cam wobbling in my feet. SO that CAN'T be good. Screw it, drive it like it's stolen until it breaks.

I don't plan on doing a whole lot of drag racing because my car's drivetrain makes all kinds of noise. It pops and thunks like crazy off the line and changing gears.
I got a new tranny mount coming, maybe that'll quiet it down some.

Sorry I missed you all last night. I was at LOTR 2. However, on Friday I got to drag for the first time. I pulled a 15.27 @ 89.32. Good job ot everybody from last night, and if all goes well I'll see some of you on Friday, this week.
