You were right there dude! The track is adjacent to the Karting place. Instead of turning left where you did, turn left a little sooner where there's an opening in the median. There is a poorly lit sign there and the gate is a little further in (not right there at the roadway).

arg! was it crowded last night? i didn't see any car driving around...and what time was it open til? poops, at least i know where it is next time

It wasn't crowded at all. The longest line you may have had last night was 10 minutes...MAX. They allowed racing 'till 10:30, but it's open later on the weekends. See you on Friday!
