Why??
The price hike is because of the increased popularity I think did they say why the price went up? Maybe I should just come out to SCCA on the weekends I might just do that on the 26 instead of doing the track day insn't it like $20.00 for SCCA.

I also got a strange vibe today at Speedgear, maybe it was just me. But it didn't seem like I was invited or something.

You guys just need to chill the f*ck out.
There have been other track days with less cars allowed, it will give you more track time. Plus, it is easier on the people working it to get things together.
the 50 dollar price is b/c of less cars going out, and also, do you Really think that everyone paying $25 actually pays for the track time??? No.
We're having a track event on a Weeknight, and that is $50. How much track time do you think we're going to get?? Not near as much as during a weekend event.

Sean has a point on the price increase due to less cars being allowed on the track. And with limited people working the track it all makes sense. I'll go down Wednesday and see if I'm lucky or not. Maybe there will be a opening. Dan did they say how many openings they had left or not....If not maybe I'll give SCCA a try instead. Sean & Dan thanks for the info..
