Sweet episode, probably my favorite this series so far.
I find it hard to believe that Jeremy loved the CLK BLACK so much that he bought one, yet hates the SL65 BLACK?
Cheap cars, featured two cars which I am SERIOUSLY considering buying when they reach our shores in a couple of years, the Fiat 500 or Alfa Romeo MiTo.
And Ken Block, what can I say, awesome as usual. John, as a fellow Top Gear regular, maybe you can chime in: did that Ken Block piece look like the guys who do Block's videos did that, instead of the usual Top Gear production crew? It was good, but it diddnt feel like Top Gear to me (with all the slow motion and such).
And, if I heard correctly, Ken Block is going to the TG Test Track? CANT WAIT FOR THAT!

I think the thing that Jeremy doesn't like is the fact there isn't much value at all for the SL65 Black except for the fact it's for basically your rich collector. He does start out liking it though, but the problem is that it's not practical with a huge *** engine like other AMG's are. Like he says, you can't drive it straight fast with the traction control on. It does look badass though imho.
The camera work does seem like it's from the same ones that does his gymkhana with some "direction" work with Top Gear guys, ie. airplanes, other distractions. I do think that you can't do a gymkhana video in the Top Gear-esque camera work though.
Damn, count me in for the Fiat 500 though. I female friend of mine LOVES(and I mean ADORES) it. It is a good car period.
