I contacted Autotrader.com and am waitng for a reply if they say it's good to go then it's not a scam but it did sound fishy...

my friend in WA has an ITR for sale. The motor is on its last leg but it is in otherwise good shape. It has a 98 with JDM front and HID but otherwise stock. He is selling it for under $10k. I've seen it for myself and it has a lot of potential to become good again. I'd buy it myself but I have enough projects. Plus ITRs are over rated.

It's a scam. My brother sent me an email link to a 2000 BMW M5 listed on autotrader.com for $6500. Figuring it was too good to be true, he emailed the guy. Guess what the story was? Yup, you guessed it, "I bought the car when I was in the US, but then my company moved me to the UK, I'll pay shipping blah blah blah." It's a pretty common scam these days. Oh, did the guy's emails have really poor grammar and spelling?

I would stay far, far away from that car.

I talked to Autotrader today they do not act as a third party to sell a car nor do they have a storage facility in Denver it was a scam I mean really who is going ot sell a turboed Type-R with 60k for $7500.00 they removed the add today..
