Too good to be true
#19
my friend in WA has an ITR for sale. The motor is on its last leg but it is in otherwise good shape. It has a 98 with JDM front and HID but otherwise stock. He is selling it for under $10k. I've seen it for myself and it has a lot of potential to become good again. I'd buy it myself but I have enough projects. Plus ITRs are over rated.

It's a scam. My brother sent me an email link to a 2000 BMW M5 listed on autotrader.com for $6500. Figuring it was too good to be true, he emailed the guy. Guess what the story was? Yup, you guessed it, "I bought the car when I was in the US, but then my company moved me to the UK, I'll pay shipping blah blah blah." It's a pretty common scam these days. Oh, did the guy's emails have really poor grammar and spelling?
I would stay far, far away from that car.
