Those damn bolts..

so i tried to drop my car today with my Eibach Pro Kit springs.. and i got as far as taking off my two front wheels...

seems as though gorillas assembled my car.. considering it took 7 hours to install a downpipe (after stripping the o2 sensor/stock downpipe) and about 4 hours to do my first oil change (because nobody could get the filter off)..

anyway.. long story short.. couldnt get the strut off.. think we were using a 35gallon air compressor with a kit of impact wrenches...

also broke 2 ratchets (at least one was a craftsman) trying to create a breaker bar with a pipe.. think the 35 gallon compressor was two weak? my friend told me it was teh bare minimum or the baby of the bunch...

Were they the lower bolts on your struts? If I remember correctly, my buddy and I had the same problem with the lower bolt on both of my front struts. Luckily he had a massive breaker bar. I swear the car shifted on the jack stands while I was trying to break it loose. I should be able to borrow his breaker bar if you weren't able to get it done. Let me know if you need help with it.

Sounds like you should invest in a bright yellow can of Liquid Wrench. Good luck with that.
