Are these critical pieces...?
Please keep this thread free of unnecessary comments and answers that will not help me at all...etc...
These pieces were damaged probably in shipping due to the way that they were packed... What I need to know is can these pieces be removed and replaced?
Are they critical for installation?
If I reform them by bending them, will it cause any problems for installation?
What kinds of things can happen if these pieces are no properly aligned when I install the axles?

Jon,
I hesitate to comment, but the first thing I'd say is, can you send them back for a refund or replacement?
2nd, while they don't have to be perfectly aligned, the teeth have to mesh perfectly. Can you take a closer picture? Are they physically damaged or are the splines chipped or what?

The fronts are towards the top of the pictures and the rears towards the bottom.
I'll take a closer picture of the splines tomorrow

As long as the damaged part does not hold you gear oil in. On some cars when you put the half shaft in or take it out they are what keep the oil from leaking out. Not sure on a Suby because I have never taken one out just know on some cars they act as a seal.

Damn Jon! That's bukoo dollas!
The front axles don't seal oil. If I remember correctly, only the drive shaft connected to the trans seals oil. I don't remember if the rear axels sealed the rear diff.
The previous posts were great. To add to that, I'd check the ball joints on the shafts. The body shop that worked on my car managed to break one of my joints when they brushed off my advice (never again will let anyone touch my car without my visual supervsion, especially them). The ball joints break easily when bent the wrong way and it costs more to fix it than to buy a replacement.

Chibby,
you know you'd let Ed (subsonic) work on your car. If I have a beer in my hand (or not), the visual inspection is a must! When you getting back? I have 245/40/17 R compounds on the car, Hotchkis competition sway bars/endlinks, and Zeal V6 coilovers (10/8 rates). You might want a ride! I'll be moving off-base soon, and my house will have a 2-car garage for installs. Sound good? Be safe!

Ed and I may me back for r/r in Aug or Sept, and it looks like we may return next year April. Bro, your car has changed a lot since I left. Zeal coilovers!!! I'd love to ride shotgun.
So you'll have a house with a two car garage; sweet! We were planning on a GT42R project, but the way the scetches look, daily drivability may be out of the picture. We're also looking at a G40R 88mm w/ 52 Trim compressor (.58 a/r), 77mm w/ 78 Trim (.95 a/r) turbine (smaller a/r turbine than sponaugle's turbo, but bb).
Bless my little Filipino brother, Ed, for being such a smart guy who does all the calculations for me. Otherwise, I'd just be putting mismatched pieces together.
Take it easy bro and have fun with your beast,
Chris
