there goes the tax return, and damn i'm tired.
so my window unit a/c starts to act up this past week, and kept tripping the circuit breaker...i bought it used and it lasted me 7 years, so it's time for a replacement...so yesterday we go shopping for window unit a/c's and ended up buying one at sears...while out shopping, we checked out comp usa for their generic 37" lcd tv that's advertised for 1300...
it would fit in our current entertainment center if the speakers could detach, but they dont...oh well...while at the sears outlet, we see a 42" sony xbr plasma tv...it looks nice and price is okay- but no way would it fit in our current setup...wifey says just get it- you've wanted one for a while, and we'll just buy a new stand for it and transfer the entertainment center now into our room...
so we bought it...and then went shopping for a stand, component cables, etc...
i picked up the tv today, but the stand is in transit (bought from circuit city)...so today i had to install the new a/c; move entertainment center from living room to our room, move entertainment center from our room into other bedroom, and move furniture around in the living room, since the tv looked funny where the old one was...
still got more crap to do, as i now have to relocate and rewire my surround sound set up and still put away the stuff from the entertainment center which was moved into the other bedroom...
i didnt get to hook up the xbox or ps2 yet...anyone know where they have the componet cables for xbox/ps2 (didnt see any at walmart when i went there today)...
i fooking tired now, and will proabably pass out soon...

I know they sell the xbox Monster Cable kit at Circuit City but I think its a lot cheaper from Amazon (probably $15-20 less). Xbox HD games will look awesome

anyone have any experience with dish network (or heard stuff, good or bad)...they have a new small shop inside pearl city sams club, and they were passing out brochures for dish network...the price is VERY attractive, especially when compared to oceanic's digital cable prices...gonna look into it...

Oceanic's digital cable package is ok, not great. Depends on the signal you get. I have the HD package and the HD channels range from good to great. BUT the regular channels are only acceptable, not much better than regular cable.
You can come over and check it out if you want......you gonna be at auto-x?
