Thanks to MR.STI and Caterpil (PICS of TEIN FLEX)!

Just wanted to give a big thanks to both of these guys...I swapped out my STI struts with TEIN Flex's...only to run into the dreaded lower bolt problem with the rear struts...the front's are fairly easy and straightforward to change out...the rears on the other hand are tougher...

There are two bolts on the lower end of the rear struts...as with the front...the top bolts are easily reachable...the bottom however is not. It is very tight there...I tried all the tricks I knew with conventional tools with little luck and a lot of sweat...

Mr.STI and Caterpil helped me change out the rear struts with the power tools they had access to in their shop...once again, having the right tools makes life much easier...looks like a compressor and set of air tools are on my list for Christmas...

Thanks again guys...and thanks to the Moanalua HS techs that helped out!!!

Give credit where credit is due...Thanks for everyones help

Sorry I didn't mention your phone technical skills as well Roy...you steered me in the right direction when I ran into a problem with the fronts...Thanks!

Here are some pics (Dirty car, inside parking garage-I'll take better pics)...the ride is really nice although at this point I am not sure where the dampening is set...The EDFC motors are on top already...

I'm getting ready to install the EDFC soon...then I'll be able to dial in my suspension...

I also received back my Perrin Rear Endlinks I sent in for warranty...they clunked baaad!...Looks like all they did was work in the endlinks so the spherical bearings aren't binding nearly as bad...I can actually pivot them around with my hands (with a lot of effort). Prior to sending them in, I could not do this unless I replaced the bolts with two screwdrivers.

After replacing the stock endlinks...so far so good...no clunking...not even with the TEIN's...the normal hard-shock bump sounds...I am very happy with the coilover set-up...

I can tell you though...those endlinks do stiffen up the rear...awesome!

Haven't seen yours in a while...

Hey Roy,

Your car is looking sweet...I've been wanting to see it for a while now...

Man, you have that thing slammed!

Don't you rub and scrape a lot? My front end isn't nearly as low as yours and I still scrape getting into work...my mid-pipe even has some scrape marks...

I found that I couldn't lower my front any more than I have it now due to the strut bottoms almost touching my CV boots...how did you get yours that low???

Not much noise at all from either the endlinks or struts now...hopefully it stays this way...you going tonight?

4080wrx...which ones you getting?

Roy and I both have the TEIN Flex...got great deals on them...the Flex's work well with the type of driving I do...spirited driving at times...possibly a little bit of tracking in the future...I just mainly like a tight, solid ride...no leaning or sloppiness in the corners...

If you stick with what most people have on in Hawaii...

TEIN Basic, TEIN SS, TEIN Flex, HKS Hyperflex, Cusco, JIC, Zeals...you can't go wrong...I like the new Whiteline struts as well...you get what you pay for so be choosy...

Like I said before...I got a great deal on these...I could have easily gone with any of the other coilovers if the situation were different...I do like the EDFC though...

Keep your ears and eyes open...sometimes when you blink, the deal is there and gone...I know...I blinked a lot...

Just installed the EDFC...now to play...

Well, the EDFC is installed, now to play around. I am going to mess around with some setting this week.

Anyone have any favorite EDFC settings? I'm going to start a new post to see what everyone is using.
