I sincerely apologize that I can't deliver as promised and have a cookout today. I desperately want to see everyone, though, so I am hoping anxiously that everyonw who can will be able to attend a cookout next Saturday, either at Dan's (primary location), or if he's unable to host (he will attend, whether he's working or not...he just may have to be in uniform.) I'm open to suggestions as to where.

Maybe the city park in PC (on the S side of the Kam, across from Ford Island), or the Waikiki park where the Zoo is (I've only been gone 6 months, but I've already forgotten what it's called.)

These are suggestions, so if anyone has any other better ideas or wouldn't mind hosting if Mach 5 can't, that would certainly be most appreciated.

Everyone is invited, pending MACH5's approval based on the amount of space he has (I don't believe that there should be any problem with that, since I know unfortunately not everyone will be able to make it.) Shoot, we may even be able to have it in a park on Wheeler or Schofield Barracks, although that's quite a bit out of the way for many, I know.

I especially want to see Wes, Jeff, Jon, Richard, Mike (if he's back from ABN school, by then...feet and knees together, dude, and you'll be just fine. Remember, there's no shame in being like me. All my jumps were night/water jumps....I closed my eyes and pissed my pants.) Dean, Brandon, Ryan, Julio (yeah, you need to come!) Farid (if I can get him to.) Joey, Dave, Ed Santiano, Jason, Jayson (if he's back from his float, which I doubt. We'll be in touch, dude) Tim, Mario, Justin, Jason Funkdrmr, Vern, Barry, Mini-T, Francis.... Wish Ed, Sean, and Greg could be here. If I left you off my list, it doesn't mean anything except that I'm too old and can't remember where to find my own crank when I gotta go pee.

Hey Pat, how long on the island. On sept 10 I'm having a big party at my house. You all are invited.

 

I'm flying out around 10p on Wednesday night, 1 Sep. Funky, I ought to be able to cut free sometime between now and then. Brandon, I've stopped by once but I couldn't stick around. Everytime I pass by your store but can't stop, though, you're there. If I can, I'll make sure and def. stop by if we can't link up.

Richard and Wes, I'm on Kath's phone (see ph # below), so I don't have your numbers stored. Please let me know if tomorrow night isn't good and I'll go make arrangements to link up wherever (I just need your numbers. PM isn't good because I can't get online too often.)

Anyhow, I'm not stating that this is firm, although it is until someone comes up with a better idea.

I'll have my, most likely, hot and tired wife and 1 yr. old with me, so I'd have to say the same thing. It could very easily be a situation of her allowing me to be there but with hell to pay later.
