Supportive seat inquiry

Hi guys,

I finally installed my prodrive p1 setup from spd and I am starting to get more annoyed at how my stock seats dont hold me well enough. Is there a good place on island to buy some supportive sport seats for a decent price? I checked at speedgear.. and tried out the sparco sprint. Anyone have good seats they would recommend? I dont need a reclinable seat, but Im sure my passengers would probably love one. That seat seems good enough for me, but I think speedgear is out of brackets for imprezas. Can anyone give me some light on where I might be able to get some brackets sooner than the 3-4 week wait speedgear informed me about? Thanks ahead.

probably going to have to order seat brackets no matter what.
If you're butt is narrow enough, the Bride seats are hella sweet!! Great support, even with the reclinable seats!!
If you don't want reclinable, then any of the bucket seats are supportive, you just gotta find the one that is most comfortable to you, and your butt.

04 WRX has less lateral support than 02 seats imo.

I have a GC8 model and I have a 32 inch waist. I have no need for reclining since I have a sedan. I just need something to take the pressure off the steering wheel so I can put more crisp and quick inputs. With the stockers, I often feel like Im bracing the steering wheel sometimes just to keep myself planted (which is not a very good thing at all )

Hey Boom would lateral support be where your shoulder blades are at??
Tsuanosuke if your ever find yourself sliding out of your seat a bit try using your dead pedal by bracing yourself with your leg, when making those spirited turns it helps.

lateral support is basically how well the seats hold you when you move side to side in tight and sudden turns such as ones in auto-x.

Hell yeah ! The new seat style in 04 WRX models are firmer BUT have less lateral support cause they protrude out less in the chest cavity area and have more of this angle \ / where 02 models have more of this angle ! !
