super O.T.-Moon and Mars same size this month!!
A few co-workers and my boss has told me that Mars will be visible as the same size as the moon this month. Our atmosphers are gonna get so close that eventually we will collide with the planet. But anyway this occurrance happens every 3000 years i've been told, or the next one we can actually live on mars by then. I just thought you guys might wanna check it out one night. ok have fun

Car Info: your mom.
^^^the article says it will be on Oct.30, 2005.
from the site--
"Earth and Mars are converging for a close encounter this year on October 30th at 0319 Universal Time. Distance: 69 million kilometers. To the unaided eye, Mars will look like a bright red star, a pinprick of light, certainly not as wide as the full Moon."

thought that this happened last year? (or was it 2 years ago?) Mars was the closest it has been in 10,000 years or something like that?
nevermind... I just read it and it was 2 years ago!
