lol so who here has had there warranty voided by servco subaru? you are refering to the prior owners of subaru tho if you read your warranty booklet you will know what will happen if you mod parts of your car. they cannot void your whole warranty just the part which was affected by the modded item
i mean everyone wanted a company to help support the suby community. now you guys have it. and are bad mouthing them right off the back. look at servco scion, servco big withing the scion evolution club.
*edit*for the record subaru has only been under servco for 4months*

Also if you got your car and it's in warranty but you got it from another dealer that isn't Servco will they honor that warranty? I doubt it but worth asking... There are other things out there that protect buyers from having their warranty straight out voided but why mod your car if you're worried about this to begin with? It also makes no sense to put your car back to stock just to bring your car back into the dealer so that they can fix it under warranty. If a component fails Subaru will eventually come out with a Recall and fix things for free. They will fix is regardless if you have a modded car or not. As shaggy stated it is wrong to just assume that Servco (though they have a good long relationship with Hawaii for service) will start voiding warranties. we need to give them a chance if you don't feel comfortable working on the car yourself.
the bottom line is... IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH HAVING YOUR WARRANTY VOIDED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM DO NOT MODIFY YOUR CAR AT ALL.
SOA is different than SOH and Servco

in hawaii there the only distributer. and on oahu there the only dealer you can get one from new
they will honor the factory warranty which is 3yrs/36k bumper to bumper 5yrs/60k powertrian
nicely put
x2
agree's also most of you that want to show your cars are mostly all out of warranty anyways or have motor swaps ect....
yeh SOA is different the SOH and servco but SOH and servco are the same since servco owns SOH. SOH is just the name of the distribution center

lol... nah, I'm good. I think I'm too old to do car shows now and hard to get some free time.
Did a lot of that back in my college days.
Besides, the judges here don't really go for my kind of "clean" tuning.
I only got authentic mods on my car and judges can't tell the difference from replica mods and give the same amount of points.
As far as I know, I have the only authentic AC Schnitzer BMW in all of Hawaii.
Difference between a replica ACS lip and a real one is $350 and $2400... or replica ACS pedals to a real one is $40 and $250. If I had all replica stuff on, I could've had so much more money for other stuff, but I just don't see how it's right putting low quality stuff on an expensive car like a M3.
