drifting was just all pics, and vids.. till i saw signal auto.. first drift event ever.. it was amazing, and i guess it's just a glimpse of what was really out there... d1 and what not...
i wasn't a hardcore car enthusiast let alone a scoobie enthusiast !!.. but then drifting was something different. it wasn't about all power, and what not.. it was more of artistic?? :P .. anyhow i dont tink im considered as a hard core, but my interest is still there ...

Nah, autox always looked fun...and difficult which is why I still enjoy it. I still suck and I want to keep at it to get better.
Drifting is fun. I know first hand but in another venue. That's what we used to do in the 80's when we'd steal my dad's car and head out to the old, gravel country roads in Montgomery County, IN.
I think that the skill level that sanctioned drifting has been elevated to is nothing short of phenomenal. I just don't get much entertainment from watching. I guess, for me, it's along the lines of watching a guy jump some motorhomes. Great display of cajones but not too enthralling (I was afraid of seeing Evel get hurt again.)
Also, it seems like such a waste of a good race car and 4 expensive tires.
