Angry strut brace's

ok i idon't consider my self retarded........BBBUUUTTTT i'm trying to install my strut braces and i was wondering if they should be tight on the end where it mounts to not the mount plates but where the plates mount to the actual bar. help

First,

loosen the bolts that hold the mount plates to the bar (to give you some play). Second, loosely put the nuts on the mount plates and make sure all are on. Now just tighten the nuts down evenly and lastly tighten the bolts that hold the mount plates to the bar.

I can fix my Suby but can't fix a helicopter. Go figure.

I found out ti is best to do as san stated I loosley installed mine and then went back and tightened it up..
