I personally dont promote or like the idea of street racing... the big thing is putting innocent people at risk while some @ssh0les wanna just get High, drunk, do stupid **** or even try to have a good time... why? we have race tracks down here...just $8 to watch or race... put ur money where your mouth is...but only at the tracks...why make it illegal (streets)...just my .02cents...

while i share the convictions that everyone has posted up----
i won't crucify you for trying to gain some new friends here in HIIC-
we encourage everyone to enjoy their cars within reason and legailities provided.
here on oahu it does go on. i hear it almost every night as my house is near the H-1. tantalus is known for its awesome hairpins, off-cambers, long straights, it's shares of S-turns, ample obstacles and bumps to make you feel like you are Petter Solberg in a WRC car....
however- the law, the neighbors and car enthusiasts(saintly ones) are fed up with "late night royales" .. . .and it's common for residents to call the cops, sprinkle bricks on apexes etc....
since we have the ample outlets for racing... and that oahu is way to congested to do other forms of racing.... we encourage everyone to "keep it at the tracks"
not that no one has never done it before... but no one speaks of it online. if anything...in person.
i hope you stay online and meet some of the great people you have there on the big island.. as i am native of keaau side myself. i love the big island. and we still have a house in Puna side....
