He already has some aussie spec 17" rims. I really like the color he has instored for them.

The autox had a little bit to do with it. I'm not so naive to think that the more performance suspension/handling parts I throw on will make me a better driver, but a part of me wants to see what each part adds (or takes away) from the car. I do wish that I could pinpoint why I'm so bad, though.
I do have Barry's old 17's. I can't find the card that Mike gave me where he had his IC pipes powdercoated. Mike or Sean, if you still have their number or what the business is called, let me know.
Besides the #1 fixit for my poor AutoX driving...practice, I plan on fixing a couple of other things. I think that the lag I have can maybe tuned out. Richard, I'm spooling at 4k. I seem to remember that the 30 was advertised for like 3500. Is there something I can do to my maps?
Also, I plan on getting aligned here in the near future.
I'm going to get something to replicate pylons and head down to the gulch.
I also wonder how much of a benefit/advantage playing some GT3 would be. I know that right now, I still have a lot of problems 'seeing' the 'line'.
Just some thoughts.

San,
I'm a veteran of about 5 AutoX's....and it shows.j/k.
Anyhow, OT, Dan brought it up, but you shoulda had someone sit in your car with you to coach/teach/mentor. I've had Jason and Joey both ride with me and although I'm still such the novice, they have helped me out quite a bit.
Dave didn't really need it, must be the GT3 master, but maybe he's got some raw talent which an experienced driver could improve upon, be riding along with him, too.
I'm going to keep on bugging every good driver I know to ride with me during fun-runs for as long as I need to (read: until I leave the island.)

what about letting someone drive your car, ... and you ride with them? You probably don't like the idea, but it would help.
the name of that shop it Hightech Coatings or something like that, .... tomorrow I will post up the number when I find it.
I drove my wrx during fun runs and was Very surprised with the drivabilty of it with the vf30 (and No em, injectors, etc, etc, etc). Unfortunately, I didn't get my times, .... but I Know I pulled a pretty good run the first time. (the second time I had TOO much fun!! )
