That's fast as heck for a stock WWD 4-banger. Wow.

For those that go to HRP for Track Days

Its Jason, Jeff or something w/ a J???? He is a Instructor at the S.G. track days and drives the purple Corvette. I was talking to him at the track Sat and he said that there is a Srt-4 w/ Mickey Thomson slicks, and a Cat-back running 12.7's I can't wait to see that thing next to me

they aren't bad for the price you pay for (without mark-up) but then again the hawaii dealerships will jack up the price anyways...there was this person selling one for $22000 used...anyone know of any reliablity issues with the SRT-4?? just outta curiousity...

hmm....A boosted Dodge? i wonder about its reliability issues. Dodge isn't too stellar w/its cars when it comes to reliability. But then again, I hear that the boosted 4 is quite bulletproof. Guess we'll just have to see.

Turbo Dodges have been around for a while. So far the SRT hasn't had any major problems. That's pretty impressive, especially when you think about who buys these cars and the way they are driven.

I think the 500hp one blew it's motor, but that was pretty heavily modded.

I agree, but the markups are definitely excessive.

I was honestly shopping for one this time last year, before I decided on the wrx. The price from the dealer in Washington state was 25,000 plus tax, title and license!!! They said "It's a limited edition car..only 7K are being made."

I've heard if you can drive it correctly, HIGH 13's are obtainable on a stock SRT-4. Looks like the run above supports that info, but I've never seen or read it from anything else I would consider reliable.

I have a friend at my work that has an SRT-4 and they ran it at our local track last week.

13.1 @ 104

I was like, "time to buy more mods for my suby"

He has a Intake, Exhaust, and UTEC for the NEON

Engine worthiness aside, has anyone seen the Neon's performance in frontal crash tests? *shudder* No way would I drive one.

Subaru

I'd like to keep my legs
