stipped my cam pulley bolts!!

stipped my cam pulley bolts!!

does anyone know where i can find these to order them,i am tryin to rebuild my top end and striped 3 of the 4 cam shaft pulley bolts, or do i have to go through the subaru dealer its for a 2006 sti thanks for any help. i have searched all over the net and had no luck yet

damn, I just sold set of bolts.
removing those bolts is not gonna be easy.

yeah i kinda figured but gonna do my best hopeing that i dont have to ruin the pulleys while extracting them

the bolt threads are stripped or the hex is rounded off?

If you stipped the actual hex, just weld on a closed end wrench like the one HERE
If you actually stripped the threads on the bolt, you're ****ed.

i just stripped the head and i would do it this way except the fact that i am doing the rebuild on schofield and they require you to have a certification to use the welder

btw, a new bolt from the dealer is only like $8 I think. I had to do this very thing last year. I welded on a box end wrench and put a steel pipe over it. Came right off.

OK I'll give a call tomorrow to the dealership wonder if there is a box end bolt replacement

i wonder....what would happen if i brought my own welder than use theirs...

if not extractors left hande drill bits work great if you break the hex off first tho.

Does the hobby shop there not weld for you? I know the on by pearl did. Super ****ty job but it got what I needed done on a time crunch. Houdini die do some quality work though.
