Car Info: 04 sti now pulling hard but super greasy!!
im telling you leave the arm and hammer carpet freshner on it overnight it will work i got the smell of aku belly out of my toyotas seats in one night and i figure almost nothing can be as stinky as aku belly ewww!

You can also try some of the dryer freshener sheet things. I had a car that was owned by a smoker before (blech!) - it didn't get all the smell out, but it removed a lot of it. Take the sheets and lay 'em out so they're touching - then park the car in the sun so it gets nice and hot inside. We left it for a day and it removed a lot of the nasty-*** smoker smell from the car.

Then again if the vacuum / shampoo job didn't get the smell out it might be in there for life!
