stiff law
"If they are in jail or without a license, they are not on the street threatening others and using their car as a weapon," said state Rep. Kirk Caldwell, who supported the bill. (starbulletin 5-20-06)-
^ wow this guy is watching too many movies! Ok sometimes i find myself in a hurry and exceed the speed limit, but I never thought that some folks view it as taking a gun out and waving it out on the street.
so heres the new law:
First offense: $500-$1,000 fine, 15- to 30-day license suspension, mandatory driver education course, either 36 hours of community service or two to five days in jail. So be careful gang, get up earlier and just reschedule that appointment instead of rushing in-the penalty is not worth it. Im sure we dont have $1K laying around, and cant fit in the time for the community service in beetween the two jobs that many of us have-so just we can get by. The state needs money to build its projects- so the highway is its newly found form of commodity. (soda bottles and cans aren't enough )

I'll be making 6 figures soon, but Oahu is too damn expensive, and 55 mph is too damn slow. sub-sonic, give me a call sometime 808-255-8591. As far as I'm concerned, sub-sonic is the finest wrench that ever touched my car. He's forgotten more than most will ever learn.

He will never get a speeding ticket nor arrested. They practice the Catch and Release law for politicians. I loath politicians. All of them and i don't care where they stand on anything.

yup things are getting too pricey here in the islands- sales tax just went up, property tax has gone up, car registrations also increased, now we pay for deposits on soda bottles/cans, not to mention the gas price-man! i never had a pay increase in years and yet all this things are being thrown at us.

I'm retiring 1 September, but I have 107 days of terminal leave and house-hunting, so I have a hair over 3 months left. Getting ready to send out my resumes.
